|Red Dead Online beta|
"Beta Red Dead Online" go to Live Today, here's how to play,
the best games
If you play early and you're looking for a reason to go back to the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, it might be.
Red Dead Online is the online version of Rockstar's flagship program in an open world of cowboys, such as GTA Online before being described as a game of its own.
We have not heard much about it since it was announced a few months ago, but today we will have a chance to dive on our own. Some of us, at least.
Roxstar is launching a scalable release to reduce the pressure on servers, so some players will jump up immediately.
Today, November 27, only players with the final version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be able to play. As a reminder, here when everyone plays:
- Wednesday 28 November: Anyone playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on launch day.
- Thursday 29 November: Anyone playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on the first weekend.
- Friday, November 30: Anyone who has Red Dead Redemption2.
The game plays by selecting an option in the address list.
I will jump immediately, so expect some ideas later in the day. But it's a big deal for both Rockstar Games and Publisher Take-Two.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is already a powerful blow, and this is not in doubt.
But the question remains whether it could turn into a money machine for years that GTA 5 became the result of GTA Online.
|Red Dead Online|
It depends on a lot of things: the initial launch as well as the ongoing support, let alone the developer's ability to develop a long-term revenue monetization strategy without the players feeling that they are benefiting from it.
GTA Online is a powerful force, but Rockstar has more or less a decade when it comes to content in a ridiculous world of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Red Dead Redemption is something of a challenge there: it's more connected, with a slow and deliberate style that does not amount to the type of excess that serves GTA Online well.
It works with more restrictive aesthetics, and a much more specific list of things you can sell to players: there will be no attack helicopters or rocket bikes.
we will see! Rockstar should reveal more information soon, so keep up with us.
