The LG brand marks seven ingenious features added to the next ThinQ8 G8
The day after LG Electronics announced that its latest G8 ThinQ product will arrive in the United States on April 11, the company took an extra step behind the scenes as a result of all the great features packaged in the phone such as touchless controls and its innovative voice experience.
On Friday, LG had seven registered trademarks with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, which appears to refer to many of the technologies to be included in the G8 ThinQ, which began pre-orders on Friday and prices start at $ 819.99 along with a variety of offers Promotional.
For example, three brand names refer to the new OLED Speaker technology, "Crystal Sound," which uses the screen as a loudspeaker.
Therefore, LG has registered trademarks such as Audio Display, Display Sound and LG Magic Speaker.
Trademark documents, monitored by the Dutch technology news blog LetsGoDigital, use the same description for all three names: "OLED screens that act as amplifiers and speakers."
In announcing the availability of the phone in the United States this week, North American company president William Chu launched the company's name as the most innovative company to date, with features "never seen before on the phone."
Among other brand features now, LG is also connected to the LG Z Lens.
LG has violated the trend of other companies such as Oppo and Huawei to set the flight time camera at the back, while LG also provides improved facial recognition and the possibility of using more enhanced reality applications, to name a few.
LG Face Code is the name given to the feature that allows users to unlock the phone using face recognition.
The front camera actually does a 3D scan of your face, which seems to be thinking behind that name for unlocking.
At the same time, the company decided to name the LG Air Click to indicate the ability to interact with its smartphones through manual gestures, which LG launched on Air Motion during at least one early presentation on the G8.
Another new name to be referred to is LG 3D Eye.
This is what LG calls the potential of the program, which can identify "the shape, thickness and other characteristics of user veins", according to trademark documents.
Palm-scanning is another way to unlock the G8 ThinQ, thanks to the "3D Eye". You target the phone in your hand, and examine the actual veins in it.
