Huawei Announces Nova 4 With Pinhole Display And 48 Megapixel Camera
A new world of modern smart phones
Huawei announced the smart Nova 4 phone weeks after it raised its most popular feature: a 25-megapixel "hole-hole" round hole.
Samsung beat Huawei by announcing its Galaxy A8s last week, but Huawei seems to have a smaller hole for the camera.
We'll have to figure out if it has any repercussions on image quality.
Last week, Honor sub-brand Honor announced the View 20, a phone that appears to be shared with Nova 4.
In addition to the design of the same hole, both phones also have 48-megapixel cameras on the rear. It's part of the tri-camera setup on Nova 4, but Honor did not appear off the 20-by-after display.
Unlike the 20 display, Nova 4 is powered by the Kirin 970 processor located on monitor 10 and the Huawei P20 Pro.
The new honor phone will use the latest Kirin 980.
Other Nova 4 specifications include a 6.4 x 2310 x 1080 screen, 8 GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a fingerprint fingerprint, 18 watts of USB-C fast charging and a 3,750mAh battery.
Nova cost 3,399 yuan (about $ 490) for a model with the above specification, but there is a cheaper $ 3099 yuan ($ 450) replacement that replaces the 48-megapixel sensor with a 20-megapixel unit.
The phone is likely to make its way to India and Europe after its launch in China.
