Amazon deals with Apple to sell new iPhones, iPads
The products will be sold directly from Apple and Apple retailers
Amazon has signed a deal with Apple that will see Cupertino Technologies sell its products - including iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches - directly to Amazon, according to a CNET report.
Amazon has sold Apple products before, but these products were from other vendors, which means prices are often variable (and very different from Apple's official prices) and that the sources do not have a good reputation.
AMAZON will be launched in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and India in the next few weeks
Apple products will begin offering Amazon sites in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and India over the next few weeks,
including Apple and Apple's Beats. The deal does not include every product of Apple products.
For example, HomePod devices that compete for echo will probably not be sold at Apple in Amazon.
As part of the deal, only Apple or Apple authorized salespeople will now be allowed to sell Apple and Beats devices via Amazon.
Any companies that sell Apple products at Amazon will see their listings removed from January 4 and will have to apply to Apple to become official sellers before being allowed to sell them back to Amazon.
