Google will close Cloud Print in 2020

Google announced that Cloud Print

Google announced that Cloud Print, which allows you to easily print things from the web with Google Chrome (even on printers without an Internet connection), will print its final pages on December 31, 2020.

Cloud Print has been easy, running on both desktop and mobile and providing an extended tool for older printers. Interestingly, even though it was introduced back in 2010, Google Cloud Print still has a test tag.

In the support document, Google recommends that you use the print experience stored in Chrome OS or, if you're using a different operating system, using the "underlying print architecture of the underlying platform".
