Samsung Galaxy S10 gets support DeX features Camera Note 10

The new Galaxy S10 software update brings key features of the Note 10 to Samsung's other main phone line

The new Galaxy S10 software update brings key features of the Note 10 to Samsung's other main phone line.

SamMobile reports that the update is rolling in some areas right now for the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10E, and includes support for DEX PC connectivity, Live Blur focus effects in video recordings, and other camera features. This month's Android security patch is also included.

Samsung later confirmed that the beta version had started in Europe, and issued another press release on October 1, adding that it would also come to the UK.

Samsung has renewed the DeX concept with Note 10, allowing you to access your phone apps from any computer instead of requiring a separate screen setup.

Perhaps not surprisingly, we found that it is still a somewhat undesirable solution because these things tend to be so.

But the Edge Case function is a better opportunity to work for anyone when it's not locked on one device, so there may be users of the Galaxy S10 who will find useful.

The online update reportedly first started in Germany and Switzerland, suggesting that it may be ready only for variants powered by the Exynos processor for the S10 phones

Models released in the US and some other regions use Qualcomm Snapdragon processors and have already received a security patch this month, so updating features may be far from over.
