Reveal trailer The Last of Us Part 2 was brutally killed for the cause of Eli everyone

We were all waiting for a new clip from The Last of Us 2, and Sony finally delivered it in the latest version of State of Play

We were all waiting for a new clip from The Last of Us 2, and Sony finally delivered it in the latest version of State of Play

The three-minute video closed a Sony presentation and was a remarkable coronation.

In addition to introducing the release date of The Last of Us 2, this trailer finally gives us more context for the driving force behind Ellie's apparent deadly rampage - the first time we've seen Joel in the body, and is ready to join Eli for another dangerous journey (whether she wants to help him or not).

The trailer starts the day after this dance.

Elie and Dina joke about kissing before going on their patrol, an invisible voice warning them against falling into "anything they can't handle" before they immediately hit something they can't handle.

Their patrol seems to be mistaken, it may be Eli's fault ... It seems that Dina was taken over by a hostile group and executed.

Despite warnings from Tommy (Joel's brother, who helps lead the settlement), Eli is still ready to take revenge on the people who killed Dina.

We see a large group of survivors and slaughter zombie action before someone grabs Eli from behind silencing her protests ... A Joel, ready to help Eli get out with her terrible plan of terrible revenge.

He seems to be about 30 years old, but hard-living after the apocalyptic will do it for you.

"We know how much you love this world and its characters - especially Eli and Joel," wrote director Neil Drakman in a post on the PlayStation blog. Believe me, we are fans too.

We love them. That is why we have spent years crafting a game that we feel will bring them justice, and tell a delicate story dealing with the fundamental question: how far will you go to fine justice against the people who hurt the people, you love? "

"It's a very emotional story with complex themes befitting the world of The Last of Us. What we realized early on was that we put the most ambitious and longest-running Naughty Dog in our 35-year history. To tell this kind of story the game must be huge."

The game will arrive at the PS4 on February 21, 2020, but you won't have to wait long to hear more about it. We're watching a big part of the game in Los Angeles, and you can look forward to our practical coverage later this week.
