Yakuza 7 replaces matchmaking with turn-based combat

Yakuza 7 games started very slowly in accessing personal computers, where Sega announced in June that it is now considered the multi-platform series.

So it deserves to be a bit enthusiastic about Yakuza 7, which was unveiled at a press conference held by Sega on Thursday.

It's exciting for three reasons: 1) It's a new Yakuza game, 2) it will be the first major game without Kazuma Kiryu as a hero, and 3) it will have a turn-based fight.

However, I have to warn of all this: it's only a PS4 game right now, and Yakuza 6 or the separate Judgment series has not yet been announced to the computer.

However, one can safely assume that it will eventually make a leap, although there is one thing for sure: Yakuza 7 is definitely a long way to the computer. Will reach the West for PS4 in 2020.

While off this route, here are some other details that were revealed during the show. As hinted last month, the protagonist Yakuza Online Ichiban Kasuga will be the main protagonist of Yakuza 7.

The game will take place in Yokohama City (so Kamarucho will not be reinstated again, then), and as I mentioned above, replace the long-term and sophisticated action gameplay Constantly with a fighting game.

Yakuza Sega lovers may remember stirring up this earlier in the year, with most considered a joke. Who's laughing now?

There is some off-screen footage of fighting embedded tweet below. The game will be known as Yakuza 7: Light and Dark Places in Japan, and Yakuza 7: Like Dragon in the West.
