Getting your ass in any game is not fun, but getting your ass by nazis is really great.

Thankfully, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is making changes with his latest update to make it the easiest game to play everywhere.

Most notably, the difficulty of head-to-head battles has been reduced, but Patch 1.0.5 offers a number of important modifications to the game.

You can check out the full debugging notes here, but TLDR is that the bosses have been identified (how far, I can't tell you because I have the game in the switch and the update is not yet run on the controllers), all enemies are less "spongy", they may Checkpoints have been added to boss battles, weapons are stronger, there is more ammunition, and your AI partner will often retreat so you don't die too much.

1.0.5 is now available on PC, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions getting the update next week.

For those of us who went with the Switch version, we will get both 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 together as one update "in the coming weeks." 1.0.4 is a fairly important correction, but the big draw is that it finally adds the ability to pause the game offline.
