Perfect phone dial
For most of us, mobile phones are at the heart of our world.
The typical feature set of these wonders is the amazing palm size. It's your phone, messaging device, web browser, camera, music player, GPS, and so on.

New Smartphones 2019 And 2020 We test and catalog hundreds of mobile phones for 2019 and 2020We are a smartphone-dominated country where 4G LTE networks outperform many home Internet connections in terms of speed, and the 5G network is starting to start in specific cities.

We have better options for wireless carriers than we have for years, thanks to the strong competition between the four major telecom operators and smaller virtualization companies such as Google Fi and Visible.

But some of our options have shrunk somewhat: the OS smartphone market is primarily due to Apple iOS and Google from Android, and it's hard to find a very good simple voice phone these days.

Here at Tech4uBox, we review all the smartphones that are almost released on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and many of its sub-brands such as Boost, Cricket, and Metro.

Instead of choosing phones with the highest ratings, we try to provide a list of phones that are widely distributed across different price points.

The menu is focused on the latest and latest hardware, but you can also find great value in slightly older phones - products like LG G7 ThinQ and Samsung Galaxy S8, which are still very good devices.

What should you look for when buying a cell phone? Here are some key points that must be taken into account:

Which cell phone should you choose?
Despite all the innovation of mobile devices and software, your wireless service provider remains your most important decision. No matter which device you buy, it is nearby unless you have strong wireless coverage.

You may have friends and family on the same mobile company you talk to for free, and you do not want to change it with your next phone.

You might crave a particular device - for example, a locked smartphone for international travel.

Of course, you want to choose a telecommunications company that offers fair services and offers the best coverage in your area. These are all good reasons for putting the carrier's decision first.

We have two main features to help you choose a carrier.
For Readers' Choice Awards, Tech4uBox readers tell us about their preferred mobile networks based on coverage, call quality, device selection, and other factors.

In order to feature our fastest mobile networks, we send drivers to 30 US cities to identify the Smartphones 2019 And 2020 carriers that have data coverage.

Since each national carrier sells a wide range of phones, choosing your service provider must be the first step. Here's a quick summary of what everyone is offering:

The strongest AT&T areas in the country are Midwest, Southeast, Texas and Northern California. After a few years struggling, their speeds have already jumped in our latest tests. ATT has DirecTV, so it has some price packages if you are also interested in satellite TV services.

Sprint was a few years rocky.
Its LTE network is improving rapidly, but it is still the worst-rated carrier by our readers because of several years of network problems.

However, if you are willing to bet on a rising star, Sprint's promotional service plans can often be insanely cheap, especially if you turn from another transfer company.

T-Mobile's fortunes have changed radically in the last few years thanks to the dissident CEO John LeGre and the Uncarrier plan. It is now the best of the "Big Four" carriers of our Readers' Choice Awards.

In the tests of our fastest mobile networks, the neck and neck are basically positioned with Verizon in terms of speed and reliability.

The new low-bandwidth spectrum has dramatically expanded LTE's network so that it can finally balance large city speeds with adequate coverage in suburban areas.

T-Mobile also has the best roaming plan, including to Canada and Mexico.

Verizon Wireless is renowned for its excellent network quality and good customer service. Their prices may be higher than the competition, but their combination of highly reliable coverage and good speeds make Verizon the fastest mobile phone network in the past year.

US Cellular is available only in about half of the country.
Has a reputation for good customer service, but recently suffered in our surveys where readers said that their prices and the quality of the LTE network do not match some alternatives.

There are also many virtual network operators using the four major networks, but they offer lower monthly rates, cheaper international calls, or other benefits.

They are usually better for lighter users and have no family plans. This year's Readers' Choice Awards were the default carriers: Consumer Cellular, which operates on ATT, and Google Fi, which combines Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.

It owns AT & T Cricket Sprint owns Boost and Virgin T-Mobile owns Metro by T-Mobile. Verizon owns Visual. Google has Google Fi.

Tracfone is another prominent virtual communications company, with spinoff brands such as Straight Talk, Family Mobile, and Net10, all of which have their own plans. We highlight some of our favorites in the best cheap cell phone plans that have never been heard before.

Do you need 5G phone?

5G arrived in April, and there are now two 5G phones available with Verizon: Motorola Moto Z3 with 5G Moto Mod and Samsung Galaxy S10 +

But although 5G has changed everything in the future, it will not happen immediately. In 2019, 5G versions will be limited and hardware will be expensive, so do not worry too much about waiting if you want to buy a phone this year.

(Note: You may see a "5G E" icon on your current AT&T phone, this is not a 5G; it's a marketing trick.) Your phone still works on 4G.)

The 5G networks and devices will become more interesting, and more widespread, by the end of 2020. The coverage and speeds of real discrimination will initially be in large cities.

If you consider yourself to be one of the first adopters, you live in a big city and want to get maximum connectivity, you should assume that you will need a 5G phone next year. By 2021, the 5G mode would be better.

This may affect your purchases in 2019 if your budget is limited. Instead of buying a high-cost phone, plus $1,000 on a three-year payment plan, you should buy a less expensive phone with a two-year payment plan or even a one-year quick upgrade plan. This is one reason we recommend the Samsung Galaxy S10e on the most expensive S10 + phone.

locked vs unlocked phones
As carriers have moved into increasingly confusing and confusing service pricing plans, the value of unlocked phones has increased accordingly.

Unlocked phones are purchased from a third-party store or directly from the manufacturer, and are not linked to any particular network operator.

Typically, you can use it with AT&T or T-Mobile.
But some of the popular unlocked phones work on all four major carriers. If you want the best flexibility, search for the latest Apple, Google Pixel, Samsung, or Motorola phone.

If you buy an unlocked phone, you will be able to transfer it freely between compatible carriers. But even if you never intend to change your carrier, unlocked phones are free from the mobile bloatware and often receive (with Android phones) software and operating system updates faster than carrier versions.

What is the best smartphone?

As more people get used to instant access to email, web, music, and messages at all times of the day, no matter where they are, smartphones are almost indispensable.

However, there is a lot of diversity out there - not to mention worshipers for specific OS platforms. This is logical, sometimes, talking to you system user interface or choosing the application, that's all.

With this in mind, and in danger of attracting fire, let us also collapse it as we can for those who have not gained such full respect.

Best Phone 2019

There is already less diversity in smartphones and designs than a few years ago. Now, both Android and iOS are the top two smartphone platforms, both in US sales and in the availability of third-party applications.

iPhone has the best shop applications and best multimedia features.
But the ecosystem controlled by Apple can feel suffocated towards some, and iOS is not easy to customize or modify.

There's a much larger diversity among Android devices, and its open-source nature makes it a drug addict's dream.

But this also means the compatibility of fragmented applications by third parties, errors that occur from time to time, software installed by the mobile company that you can not remove, and scatter, often intermittent operating system updates.

In terms of form factor, it is difficult to find a smartphone that is no longer a solid blackboard anymore. The best phone with an actual BlackBerry Key2 LE keyboard.

It's a good device, and it's worth choosing whether the actual keyboard is important to you, but fewer people seem to be a key advantage over time.

The phones are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes, to suit different types of hands. Samsung S10e and Google Pixel 3 are narrower than most other phones, giving them large, easy-to-carry screens. Galaxy Note 9, OnePlus 7 Pro and iPhone XS Max are two giants for people who want large windows in their online world.

Best Featured Phones 2019 And 2020

A large portion of the US population still uses the most simple phones, but there are a few amazing current options.

There are still reasons to get a simple, low-cost device: it's easy to use, and they charge much less monthly fees because data is not included. There are some killer deals for voice use only on virtual carriers such as TracFone and Consumer Cellular.

There is a big problem with the existing voice and network phones. Since all of our carriers are working to eliminate or reduce the quality of the second and third-generation networks, voice phones must be verified by telecom operators for audio coverage over the LTE network for good quality and future communication.

Old voice phones do not have that, and there are not many LTE voice phones. It's frustrating.

We have one audio phone in this list, the Doro 7050 for Consumer Cellular. The Kyocera Cadence LTE is good for Verizon.

We pin our hopes on Light Phone 2 (released in July) and Punkt MP02, which have not yet been properly supported by VoLTE yet, but both are trying to pass this process.

Kyocera Cadence LTE

Unlike smartphones, premium phones are "what you see is what you get." They do not receive software upgrades or run thousands of additional apps (some premium phones come with app stores but do not be fooled, they're mainly for selling extra services, ringtones, wallpapers, and basic games).

For audio quality, read our individual phone reviews.
Wireless coverage is always the biggest factor, but individual phones can vary in reception, earphone quality, microphone quality, and tone (your voice echo helps keep you from yelling at the other person).

It may be almost impossible to use a medium-quality phone for poor reception quality in a marginal coverage area, while a high-end phone can make the most of the small-signal available.

Another point to keep in mind: Some phones have higher audio speakers than others.

Best Cheap Phones
This story tends to be topped by expensive phones, but you can get a good smartphone between $200 and $300 in advance.

We admire Motorola's low and mid-range phones. It's unlocked and compatible with all US carriers and uses a fast and clean version of the Android OS.

The Moto E series is available from mobile operators for less than $100 and Moto G7 Power is available online for $250;

Due to the current US-China trade war, the low-cost market cavity has been recent. We used to recommend several phones from Honor, Huawei, and ZTE, but their future in the United States remains in doubt.

At the moment, basically, see the Motorola and LG low-end phones if you're trying to save money.

The cheapest iPhone devices that we currently recommend are iPhone 7 $449. Apple tends to program its operating systems, and once the model is about three years old, it can no longer handle some of the latest features.

This means that iPhone models older than 7 reach the end of their fully supported lives. Do not buy the older iPhone, including the iPhone SE.

Best Cell Phone Plan Pricing 2019 And 2020

Pricing a cell phone is more confusing than ever before.
Some carriers still have two-year binding school contracts where they pay a higher monthly rate for a reduced phone.

But there are also payment plans where you pay the full retail cost of your phone, but you pay less on your service plan; quick rental and leasing plans where you pay monthly fees and trade in your phone for a new one each year; as well as more carriers that sell phones at retail price in advance .

The option you choose depends on how long you want to keep it on your phone and what you want to do with it after you're done.

If you plan to upgrade frequently, you'll get the biggest financial advantage by buying phones in advance and reselling them on eBay when you're done, but that takes an effort.

Traditional two-year deals make sense if you commit to a new phone plan every two years and you agree to a long-term commitment.

T-Mobile and Verizon do not offer two-year contracts; you either pay off or pay in installments over 24 months. Apple offers leasing and payment plans as carriers do.

There is also a monthly carrier fee.
This is where things get tricky because carriers make it very difficult to figure out how much you will pay per month. T-Mobile now includes fees for the announced basic plan prices, which we hope will be followed by other carriers.

AT&T and Verizon plan to cost more, but these two carriers have the best voice and data coverage in the nation. Sprint and T-Mobile offer significant savings, especially in voice, data, and text messaging plans.
