Samsung CEO says he pushed The Galaxy Fold Phone before it was ready

Samsung CEO says he pushed The Galaxy Fold Phone before it was ready, Samsung's co-CEO, DJ Koh, says he paid the Galaxy Fold for "before it's ready," which delayed the device just days before it was supposed to ship to customers.

"It was embarrassing," Koh said a small group of reporters, according to the Independent newspaper.

Galaxy Fold, which was the first major release of a collapsible smartphone, should have appeared in late April.

But when reviewers began testing the phone in the previous weeks, many noticed that the screen could be easily damaged, either by sliding into debris or by user error.

"We are in the process of recovery."
Phone has been delayed since.
Samsung promised that the phone would continue to go out, but did not announce a new launch date. Last update is that it will not come this month.

Koh now says Samsung has "identified all problems and all problems" with the fold and 2,000 devices being tested, according to The Independent. But it's not quite ready yet, with Koh saying, "Give us more time."

"I admit I missed something on the folding phone, but we are in the process of recovery," Koh said.
