Apple will permanently delete Dashboard in MacOS Catalina
Apple will permanently delete Dashboard in MacOS Catalina, Is to get the Apple tablet removed quietly from the next Mac Catalina update of the company, as AppleOShy was first noted and later reported by MacRumors

Dashboard was first launched 14 years ago with MacOS X 10.4 Tiger in 2005 and was last updated in 2011 with the launch of OS X 10.7 Lion.

The application introduced for the first time the concept of widgets for the desktop operating system of Apple and has become a distinctive feature of OS X design for more than a decade.

In particular, Dashboard is known for the Sticky Note desktop feature, its more comprehensive emphasis on clockwork, stocks and widgets, the design philosophy that formed the foundation of the first release of iOS launched just a few years after the Tiger X operating system.

Until Apple iOS 7 in 2013, Apple did not give up this aesthetic appearance of a more superficial and modern appearance, which was eventually transferred to its appearance and devices on the desktop.

Since 2011, Dashboard has been available in various formats, but no user interface design or UI update has been updated, making it an anachronism behind the scenes on the Mac.

With OS X 10.10 Yosemite, Apple disables the application by default, but still allows users to access it either as a shortcut key overlay or as its own separate space in Mission Control.

Now, in MacOS Catalina, it seems that the Dashboard will go forever. AppleOShy attempted to disable the Dashboard Panel via Terminal and enable it only to show the system it was missing even after forced restart.

The Launchpad overlay also displays the Dashboard icon as a question mark, as with iTunes cut and killed effectively.

However, Mac users are unlikely to be using Dashboard with useful numbers.

Apple has provided many of the same widgets as part of the macOS notification center for years, accessible through the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, as well as through a hotkey gesture or trackpad on Apple laptops

There's also the App Store section of the notification interface widget if you want a custom application for a particular application, such as AirMail, Fantastical, or Todoist.

But for the software record, Dashboard was a memorable feature of the OS X during the years of evolution and conversion beyond Apple iPod.

Will be missed, if only as a reminder of the extent to which desktop software has been designed in the last 15 years.
