One of the biggest problems of the Galaxy Fold is also an exciting innovation that other companies want
The Biggest Problem with Galaxy Fold!

To everyone's surprise, Samsung decided to postpone the launch of its first fully-fledged smartphone

The company postponed the New Galaxy Fold Phone application after many reviewers found that the collapsible screens of their test units had started to malfunction.

Samsung is investigating and no official explanations have been made, but there are two different theories about the error that occurred on the Galaxy Fold's Infinity Flex screen.

Interestingly, one theory concerns the new smartphone component developed by Samsung for Fold, which other smartphone makers seem to want.

A teardown of the phone seems to confirm that small gaps on either side of the new phone hinge will allow the debris particles to get inside the phone which may damage the OLED screen.

Another problem that helped reviewers destroy their devices is the screen-like film at the top of the screen, which pleaded only to be removed.

Samsung claims to have warned people to remove the extra layer, but that warning was not clear enough.

Although this protection layer may have been the cause of the destruction of the Galaxy Fold screens, it has also turned out to be a new technology that others want, according to ETNews

It may not be the perfect execution on the new phone Galaxy fold, or maybe it's Samsung's warning not to remove it and this is not clear, but the top layer screen is actually an innovation designed to protect the transparent polyimide (PI) screen and repeat plastic glass properties.

PI does not feel so much touch, and this is something we heard well before we knew about Samsung's folding phone

Samsung has developed this new protective film, HCAF (Anti-Fingerprint Hard Cover), designed to protect the PI layer from damage and repeat the feeling of glass.

What are the causes of New Galaxy Fold Phone failure

But the HCAF film is tightly bound to the PI layers, removing it, causing large screen damage, to the extent that the screen fails.

The first reviewers have already confirmed that this is actually happening once the peeling of the layer begins.

The problem is that it looks exactly like a protective film that is often pre-applied on Android phones and protects against damage. By leaving the edges of this special layer exposed, Samsung was asking for a problem.
According to ETNews, an unnamed industrialist said the Galaxy Fold screen, this HCAF film, is not yet available to other companies and that "willing buyers" are interested.

It is unclear at this time who these interested parties are, but once Samsung fixes these early problems from the Galaxy Fold, we may see Samsung Infinity Flex screens on phones made by its competitors.
