Gearbox Software is excited to unveil its next game, the long awaited Borderlands 3, for PAX East.

Here is the full official description of the board:

Gearbox working on new borders is no secret.
Randy Pittsford, head of Gearbox, said at PAX South 2015 that the studio was looking for a new talent to help it create the "Border of the Next Borderland."

Last year, Pitchford at PAX West said Gearbox "is working on something that I think is more of a thing than you guys want us to work on."

More than six years have passed since the last numbered arcade game, Borderlands 2, shipped on PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360.

Since then, Gearbox and its partners have released a number of plugins and extensions, including Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel , Tales of the Borderlands, and the VR version of Borderlands 2.

PAX East will run March 28-31. Tickets are still on sale for the first day of the show, at the time of writing.
