Do you want to listen to your friend's conversations? Thanks to an error in Apple's FaceTime service, all you have to do is contact them via FaceTime on your iPhone or Mac

You can then use their phone microphone to hear what happens, even if they do not pick up the call.

Just turn FaceTime off.

In fact, Apple temporarily turned off the Group FaceTime feature on iOS and MacOS, which says it should address the error right now. 

However, if you want to make sure, you can completely disable it. This will turn off FaceTime audio and video calls, but it is safe to take precautions until this error is fixed.

  • Open the FaceTime application
  • Go to the menu, click on "FaceTime"
  • Go to "Preferences"
  • Uncheck "Enable this account"

  • Go to the menu, click "Turn FaceTime off"

  • Scroll to "FaceTime"
