Months later, Facebook updated its applications for the new iPhone XS Max, XR and iPad Pro

It took a few months, but Facebook recently updated its iOS applications to support the top-of-the-line solutions for Apple's iPhone XS Max and Apple's Big XR last fall, allowing Facebook to work on the original resolution of the device instead of just expanding the iPhone One size XS, via 9to5Mac.

The update also adds support for larger screen sizes on the latest models of the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro that were released last fall by removing the black bars the app was using.

(Although the usable space of the application is basically the same.)

The new app update lets you take advantage of the larger screens in XR and XS MAX

Updated iPhone applications take up slightly more space due to the update.

2688 x 1242 iPhone XS Max (3x pixels effective screen) The 1793 x 828 iPhone XR (2x pixel) screen effectively produces a screen width of 896 × 414, slightly above the 812 x 375 XS and X screen.

In related news, Apple revoked Facebook developer certification yesterday in response to the social network that misuse these permissions to distribute tracking application to adults and adolescents, resulting in paralyzing Facebook's ability to develop new versions of its iOS applications by preventing the company from internal testing on Latest equipment.
