How to use the new voice messaging feature in Instagram

Social networking platforms are always looking for new ways to connect with friends and loved ones, whether by sending photos to yourself with a fake crown, overlapping a cartoon of yourself during video calls, or engaging in gif battles.

Recently, Instagram has released the latest crack in the allocation of your direct messages (DMs) - voice messages - which strongly return to a simpler time.

These messages allow you to sign up for a full minute of sound, giving you plenty of time to put it all together.

Here is how you can whisper the delicious things (or anything else) in the ears of your followers.

First, open Instagram and jump to a new, ongoing conversation.

From here, you'll see a newly added microphone on the left side of the "Message ..." field joining the likes of the image and the extra icons.

There are some methods that you can record once you reach this point.

The most obvious option is to press the microphone and start blathering.

Once you have done this, simply leave the message and will be on its way to the receiver, so choose your words wisely.

Do not worry too much.

If you make a mistake in your conversation or regret what you said (please use voice messaging responsibly), just drag to the left, drag the recording to the trash, and pretend that it never happened.

If your fingers look a bit lazy, you can also quickly scroll down by simply pressing the microphone icon to detect a lock.

You'll be able to unlock your finger on the screen by speaking hands-free, and then you can manually submit your workpiece by clicking the up arrow or sending it to forget by clicking the trash icon instead.

Last, we believe that most of the messages you can send voice messages to, are to carry the phone on your ear from within the thread, listen to a nice voice, and talk just like in a phone call.

Then, when you bring the phone down, those familiar sending and sending icons will be waiting for you if you have any of those second thoughts we mentioned earlier.

Voice messages look like they do not need to think, and while we're surprised that this took a long time, we're happy to see that it's been done smoothly.

With this update, Instagram has once again given us just one additional feature in the non-rugged toolbox that we can use to stay connected over the Internet.
