Instagram wants to fight pseudo likes, follow-ups, and comments by removing them more effectively.

Any fraudulent adverts and tracking from accounts using third party services will now be removed for further interaction to violate our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use, as announced by the company as part of today's policy change.

Instagram says it has created learning management tools that help identify accounts that use these services and automatically remove comments, comments, and comments.

Any accounts identified as using third-party applications to increase popularity within Instagram will be notified that fake animations have been removed.

It will also be required to change your password if third-party applications are compromised for the security of their accounts.

As Instagram grows into a platform for powerful voices and brands to promote more products, more accounts will inevitably shift to third-party applications to artificially increase the popularity of posts.

In this week alone, the New York Times reported a phenomenon known as "nanoinfluencers", or people who have fewer than 1000 followers are now trying to get free products as opposed to advertising those items on Instagram.

As with the Twitter campaign on bots, the exclusion of fraudulent activity is something that Instagram should continue to address if it wants to protect the integrity of its advertising.

Although Instagram has removed fake accounts for a long time, no action has been taken against the counterfeit ads before.

According to the company's press release, the platform plans to take further action against counterfeit activity in the coming weeks.
