Victims can claim up to $ 375
The figure translates to $ 50 million to $ 25 per hour for each account holder who is disbursed to deal with the results of the breach.

Settlement puts the estimates in 15 hours for those who suffered losses such as identity theft and only five hours to others.

Depending on whether you can document your losses, you can claim up to $ 375 or $ 125 only.

If you have a written Yahoo email account, you can recover 25% of the subscription.

Since Verizon bought Yahoo's online services last year, Verizon will now have to pay half the amount due.

The other half will be taken care of by Al-Taba, the rest of Yahoo after completing a deal with Verizon.

Yahoo has agreed to pay $ 50 million in compensation for 200 million people in the United States and Israel who have broken their personal data, according to the Associated Press

The company also has to provide users with credit monitoring services for two years. A federal court in California has yet to approve the settlement before the payments are granted.

In 2013, Yahoo suffered a breach of data that affected all three billion user accounts. The following year, suffered the smallest breach of impact on 50 million users.

Personal information including names, birthdays, e-mail addresses, encrypted passwords, and even in some cases, security questions and answers are detected in the breach.

Although Yahoo first disclosed data breaches in 2016, it took two years in a mass lawsuit against Yahoo to reach a settlement.
