The world's largest search engine is turning into the spirit of Halloween today with a Google logo runable.

While Google has stopped Doodles in the past (including Halloween 2016), this is the first time that the information giant has created a multiplayer game that players can jump with other people online. Think of it unlike Slither.io.

Rules of Trick or Treat: Great Ghoul Fencing is simple. You play a cute appearance picking up "spirits" and bringing them back to the base to get points.

All the souls that are not deposited will walk behind you, like a tail. The trick is that anyone who touches your tail can steal your non-circulating spirits - but you can steal the lives of others as well.

During scoring points, spirits may give you powers such as speed enhancement, or the ability to walk across walls. The games last only two minutes, but that's enough time for all kinds of tricks.

Like Overwatch, Doodles give praise and titles in the end, depending on your performance.

"In the doodles for the first time, players can choose to host a game with up to seven friends and family via a custom invitation link or only play with random players around the world," he reads as the blog post announces the game

"The team has built several systems to enable these multi-player games, all of which run on the Google Cloud Platform, including Open Match, an open-source reconciliation framework that is highly scalable through Google Cloud and Unity."

PRO Tip: You can raise a high score by fast waiting in the middle zone and cut your opponents to score points ... or when everyone does, look for the base side that nobody uses, and gather morale into the entertainment while everyone is sniping each other.
