Soon you’ll be ready to watch highschool soccer on Twitter

Just at the NFL is power train up to kickoff its regular season, Adidas has proclaimed that it'll be partnering with Twitter to livestream highschool soccer games on the platform. The “Friday Night Stripes” series (Get it? Get it?) can embrace eight games, that includes groups from Calif., Georgia, Florida, American state and Hoosier State.

The series starts Sept seven (a day once the NFL season opener, incidentally), running throughout the quality highschool season, till Nov nine.

The deal joins a slew of existing streaming sports deals for the platform, together with professional games from the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL, along side collegial conferences, like Pac-12. NFL games, specially, are a giant hit for the location. This will, however, mark the primary time highschool soccer games are streaming on the platform.

ESPN play-by-play announcer Courtney Lyle can decision the games, along side analysis from former Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk and sideline coverage by YouTube comedian Cameron “Scooter” Magruder. Twitter will provide the quality sports timeline options to supplement the on-field action.
